◊We Begin..◊
ʬʬʬʬʬ Wet, humid, warm, quiet & peaceful: That was the land of the RainForest; a paradise to experience. Waterfalls could be heard from distant, birds flew above the land, humming birds flew around to flock at trees. Resting below the land's temple lay Drek, and not far from there was Sheba. The two had been in a conversation, in fact: They were trying to find a way to scare Destiny for the next time she'd be found sleeping around.
ʬʬʬʬʬSheba Inu: "How about we pile up a bunch of fern leaves on her? That'll surely get her in the morning."
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: He chuckled. "I'm not quite sure how that would work. She's quite the heavy sleeper, though. Perhaps if we drop it all on her and make a run for it?"
ʬʬʬʬʬ Steps could be heard, along with some laughter. It was Flea Hunter. The old companion had just gotten back from a scout hunt: He was looking around, seeing if he could find any large prey for hunt. Both Drekentai and Sheba had looked in his direction, both curious of his early arrival.
ʬʬʬʬʬFlea Hunter: "She's going to want to get back at you one day, you know, Drek. Y'old fool"
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: He chuckled again. "I'd like to see that happen!"
ʬʬʬʬʬSheba Inu: "I doubt it, she sleeps too much."
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: He chuckled. "True. So Flea, what brings you back here early?"
ʬʬʬʬʬFlea Hunter: "I couldn't find anything big enough for keep, it's rather.. Calm and empty today."
ʬʬʬʬʬ Something didn't seem right. Drek turned his head to look around. Somebody was here, he couldn't hear, or see it. But he was feeling it, right then, and right there. He got himself up and turned around, looking in the direction that once was, behind him. Flea wondered, Sheba wondered, he wondered. Flea took a few steps closer, allowing himself to look thoroughly into the distance.
ʬʬʬʬʬFlea Hunter: "Uhm.. Drek, remember the last time You and Kensel encountered, you.. Froze him, right?"
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: "..Yes, I did. Why do you ask?"
ʬʬʬʬʬ Flea didn't respond, vocally that is. He did nothing but look ahead. Fear could be seen in his eyes, while curiosity grew within Sheba. Flea's words grew to Drek, he continued to pay attention ahead of him, keeping well alert. Slowly, in the distance, he begun to appear through the fog. Kensel.. Was here.
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: "..I froze you, I stopped you from torturing more. What more could you want now?"
ʬʬʬʬʬ ((00:00 - 01:00 TS)) Kensel: "You never learn do you Drek. Remember the past. Look back, ah the lovely wildfire. I did that to get to you, d@mmit. I didn't care to kill others, it's you I wanted. Decades over time, everybody was split, I lost track of you. We met again, I was too late, you'd already been blessed. I wanted no more immortals but I roaming this place! Any more of us and it would be a dreaded war zone for leadership! You're a fool to believe you could be a savior. You know why I say so? Because I'm right here, alive, because you refused to kill me when you had the chance. And now it's time I get you, for good!"
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: "You were a killer, you are a killer. You tortured hundreds, possibly even thousands that I'm unaware of, over the decades. I stopped you once, and I'll stop you again. I don't care for your reasons for all of your acts, your crime shall be payed with your death."
ʬʬʬʬʬ ((01:00 - 01:42 TS)) Trapped within shock, Flea was frozen. On the other hand, Sheba hadn't had the slightest idea as to what was going on, who this Kensel was. Merely nobody might have even known who he was at this time. But it could all depend on where he's been; what he's done. Adrenaline could be seen rushing through Drek: He was moving towards Kensel at a fast pace. Not running, but rather quickly, keeping his eyes right on him, refusing to look away. He didn't want to take any chances of finding himself dead on the ground. All meanwhile, Kensel had actions of his own. His claws were digging into the thick grass, waiting for Drek to come closer: He was still, and calm, but his eyes shown a clear frown.
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: As Drek ran, he let out his final words, in a low, growl-filled tone, before it all begun. "It ends now."
ʬʬʬʬʬ Drek had leaped, letting out a long, loud roar out of instinct: His claws were out, all four legs extended forward to try and push back Kensel while his claws would be dug into his skin. Only one mistake, but a big consequence. Kensel stood in place, his paw'd been lifted up, claws facing upwards: Trying to cut in through Drek, or at least hint of what he'd do. While on the other hand Drek had pushed himself off since his back legs were in the position. He landed on all four paws, frown focused on Kensel. He completely forgot: Skin that's hard as stone, body that's strong as bull. A mistake, becoming a lesson: It wasn't easy the first time, it won't be any easier this time. Kensel took a run for him, trying to pin him down. He went up on his back legs to try doing so: Drek pushed himself aside, trying to dodge Kensel. Unluckily for him: He got a claw through the right shoulder. The fresh cut wasn't all so visible considering he has thick fur.
ʬʬʬʬʬKensel: "Not going to ask our friends for help, are we?"
ʬʬʬʬʬSheba Inu: "That's it, I'm going in!"
ʬʬʬʬʬFlea Hunter: "No! You'll get yourself killed for nothing!"
ʬʬʬʬʬ ((00:35 - 01:00 ISA)) Drekentai HieloRey: "I stand alone."
ʬʬʬʬʬ Flea ran in front of Sheba and forced her to stand back. He made sure to keep her distant from all this, himself as well. Drek was no longer blue marked. They'd been red by now. A fiery red wingspan had been lit up. He'd been angered by Kensel. His family, everybody.. All lost because of him! And all the others? That's too many deaths from one being. The grass around Drek begun to take flame. Fire rose from around him in a large ring-like shape. He was standing solidly on the ground, he grew bright in light; eyes focused with a frown onto Kensel. Flea looked at Drek, wondering what he was doing. Sheba looked up, noticing a faint light, grow brighter with every second that went by. Flea looked at Sheba and looked up as well. A strong pull of gravity could be felt in the area.
ʬʬʬʬʬ ((01:42 - 02:25 TS)) Flea Hunter: "Oh sh!t... RUN!"
ʬʬʬʬʬ Fire grew brighter, stronger; the atmosphere was beginning to get easily noticeable changes. Ground faintly quaking. A meteor was coming down, and it was coming down exactly where Drek was focusing. It grew and grew, becoming a fireball as it raced down. Flea and Sheba had turned around, running off to a distant safe place. Drek stayed put. Kensel did nothing but raise an eyebrow at this.. Stupidity Drek was trying to pull off. The ground begun to shake more, seconds to spare, Kensel looked up. But the quakes strengthened too late, meteor had been there. Drek was close, but focus was never lost. The impact was heavy, the fire that had been lit was blown out, but flames from the impact, would remain for days. Drek waited, and waited.. And waited. Cautious as always, he decided to move ahead. Claws lit up in flames and digging into the soil with every step he took closer to the newly-formed crater.
ʬʬʬʬʬ Kensel was beneath the impact. He wasn't hurt, not even a scar: He really did have stone skin. All thought the heat and sudden impact took the effect of "tenderizing" his skin for say. It was still rock solid, but not as much any more, not on the stomach anyways. The impact caused him to slam down into the ground roughly. He got up, anger had spread through him, pushing off the rock that was on his back and ran out of there, aiming straight for Drek: Claws out and bear. His claws ended up getting caught in Drek's right shoulder again. But this time Drek wasn't aware enough. They ripped through his shoulder, taking a big load of fur and skin along. He swung his arm to the other side, trying to throw him off to take what was stuck to his claws with him.
ʬʬʬʬʬ ((02:36 - End ISA)) Drek was thrown back: his right shoulder was completely torn. His body thumped on the ground, rebounding once or twice as he slid further. He was knocked unconscious for a few moments. The moment he was thrown off, his markings burnt off & back to normal. His eyes slowly opened as he tried to push himself back up. Weak, his leg shook. He looked ahead, seeing a massive crater, faintly lit up in flames. And Kensel was in the center of sight. Drek was bleeding from the what would probably be scars forever, but not much. Kensel may have ripped out skin as well but only couple of deep cuts were allowing blood to go through. The grass around Drek begun to grow cold. Fog rose up from it. It was getting cold: The grass was starting to freeze a flaky white. Since it was a humid area, it was fairly easy for things to freeze around here, and within seconds Kensel's paws were all being closed up into ice.
ʬʬʬʬʬKensel: "You really think that's going to stop me?"
ʬʬʬʬʬ ((00:00 - 00:48 AP)) Drek didn't reply. Kensel forced until he'd break free. Walking towards Drek slowly, feeling no need to take caution since he was weak now. Drek then ran forward, ducking down on his back to try getting under Kensel. Kensel, thinking he would be able to pin him now, stood still and was about to raise his paws to step down on Drek, trying to dig his claws in him. Drek took Kensel's weak spot for advantage. His stomach skin wasn't all so strong now. With fire lit claws he tried to break his way into the skin. Kensel reacted, rather quickly. He swung his body towards the side, trying to get away. But it was too late, his claws were slowly digging through his skin. And the swing made it worse, claws went through and got ripped out, causing a small tear. Drek was swung to the side slightly, he tried to not roll to get up, shoulder was.. Pretty messed up now.
ʬʬʬʬʬ (( 04:38 - 05:06 TTD)) Kensel growled as he pushed himself back up. Claws digging into the ground, anger-filled frown built upon his face. Drek was becoming cold again, only the ground was getting colder this time. Ice crystals begun to form on the grass. He was focused now. Auras begun to grow around him: Markings throwing off light. The cold air was growing tense. Kensel leaped at him in anger: With a strong desire to kill. Ice grew. The intense cold of the area allowed it to grow fast. It just so happens to have reached Kensel's stomach tear as it towered: One sharp tip, one large ice pillar. As the pillar towered, it pierced through Kensel's tear, stabbing it's way through him. The auras, the light, the strong cold around Drek suddenly dropped, clouds of cold and light dropped to the frozen rainforest floor. Drek pushed himself up, leaping towards Kensel whom was still slightly alive. A loud roar came from Drek, it was from the pain in the arm. He held his claws onto Kensel's skin and pulled him down with him: Doing nothing but even more damage to him. The pillar pierced straight through Kensel's back, blood covered it from the tip to the body. Drek ripped his claws out, letting himself drop back onto the ground. He looked into Kensel's eyes, he was dead, but Drek still spoke.
ʬʬʬʬʬDrekentai HieloRey: "Ten THOUSAND days you brought torture to me.. That's twenty-SEVEN years since I froze you. Your end is now."
ʬʬʬʬʬ Drek turned around slowly, breathing heavily from exhaustion. Arm covered with blood streams, he tried walking ahead, away from all this: He wanted to escape it all. Murder was not one thing he was voting for. He was Destined to protect everybody from Kensel, but it seems he was destined to protect himself from Kensel, If what ever he'd said was.. True. His leg was too weak now, he fell on the thick grass. He let himself rest there, he didn't want to bother trying to move. It was time to say goodbye to a normal life, until that shoulder heals enough, he'll need help.
